This give away is open to any high school senior graduating in 2011 or 2012 in the central Pennsylvania area.

Once the 17th rolls around, we will choose no more than 10 guys and 10 girls based on your note about why you would be a model senior.

Your Name, photo, and little note will be put on the JRpassions Facebook page. Then it's up to you to get your friends to like, or thumbs up, your picture.

You will have from Feb 24th until March 10th to vote. Whoever has the most votes at the end of the 2 weeks will win!

I forgot to mention there will be prizes awarded to everyone who gets chosen into the voting round of the contest? Each of the 10 guys and 10 girls (except the winner) will receive a $50 gift certificate good towards any senior session or prints.

Holly's Senior Session

We had a great time with Holly for her senior session. We started off at the railroad tracks, jumped back over to Wrightsville, off to her house for pictures with her dog, then ended at a rustic barn. We had a blast! And it wasn't hard getting smiles out of Holly, since she brought her best friend Sierra.

On Saturday, we had the privilege to photograph Holly and Mike's wedding. The day had a pretty relaxed vibe as we started off at the Lutheran church in Wrightsville, Since Holly's Dad found a secret spot to get outdoor photo's done, we skipped over there after the ceremony. After that, we headed over to the Viking Club in West York for some very yummy crab cakes and extreme dancing. While cake in the face was kept to a minimum, searching for the garter led to some interesting faces!

After the wedding they headed off to Niagara Falls for their honeymoon.

Congrats Mike and Holly! We wish you the best!

Olivia's Senior Session

Olivia is such an outgoing girl. We had a lot of fun at her Aunt and Uncle's property. She even had 2 old cars come in for the shoot, and they were GORGEOUS! Enjoy!

We had an awesome shoot with Maddison yesterday. She is a an avid softball player, for both the traveling and high school teams. We started off the shoot at the softball field, then moved on to the railroad tracks. From there, we went to a field for more a country appeal. We had a ton of fun and look forward to seeing her accomplishments with softball in the future.

Tyler has quite a collage of talents and skills. He is a wrestler and even went to Disney World to wrestle. So, we sported off his varsity jacket, even though it was a little warm, he didn't mind. He also plays guitar, he plays mostly country/western music, which he played some for me while we were shooting. We went in the woods to do a little hunting. NO!, just kidding, but we did have fun with his mom carrying the firearm around. We got some great special fx shots that are really cool! We wish him good luck with hunting and wrestling this year.

Zach and Josh are best friends. They have lived across the street from one another since they were kids, and now, they are going to be seniors in highschool! We did their senior shoot together at Reed Menzer Skatepark in York, then we went back to Wrightsville to bring it home. Here are some super sick shots we took today of them!

I think I have a career in skateboarding images, I just need to wear some bubble wrap next time.

First off, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! We were blessed this past year with some wonderful clients, and 2009 couldn't have been successful with out them! With 2009 now behind us, it's time to move forward, and that means its time for some positive changes here at JRpassions!

-Jim has been working hard, heading out to various basketball games for the Eastern Knights. You can view all of the images from the games he has been at this season on our online store. If you have a team or play a sport you would like us to come out and photograph, just let us know! We would LOVE to be there!!

-I have been working diligently on updating our site. It has been quite confusing for awhile. The new updated site will be a lot easier for everyone to use! I am hoping to have the site completed and online with in the next few weeks, but I will keep you posted!

-Sales Sales Sales! Jim and I have been coming up with sales for you all to save some money in 2010. Starting with our action shot sale, which you can receive 20% off of your order if you order prints no later than 2 weeks after the game is posted online. We are also going to be having a few Senior sales this year, so keep your eye on facebook and our blog for those!

-We decided that our studio needs some of our clients help. We designated one wall in our studio to let our clients draw on. We bought all the tools to do it, we just need you to come in and write something: your name, who you love, even draw a smilie face, its up to you! If you see us at the studio, or would like to come in and tag our wall, just let us know!!!

Eastern beats LS for tourney win!!!

Eastern had no problem tonight with Lampeter Stasburg. Andrew started off the game with a dunk, and the boys were just pumped up from there on out. Austin scored his thousandth point tonight also. Final score was 80-40 giving Eastern the tournament champions.

The Robuccio's called us and exclaimed "The first time it snows, we want you guys over here at our house taking Anna's senior pictures". Wouldn't you know it, two days later it snows. I quick gathered my camera gear and headed over. I must say, they were a bit surprised to see me show up. We got a good hour in before it started getting dark. I hope Anna enjoyed the experience as much as I did!!!

Girl Scouts visits JRpassions studio

The Girl Scouts came down to visit us at the studio tonight. They came to learn how to use and take care of photography equipment. We set up shoot for them and we had the girls pose in front of the camera, and had some of them working the camera and taking shots. We introduced them into a couple of different types of photography, sports, portrait and composite photography. We even did some post editing and printing for the girls for their albums. Jake's Senior Session

We tell all of our seniors to think outside the box and come up with an idea for their senior session that fits them. Jake surely listened to our advice. This is on my top 3 of the funnest shoots I have ever been on! After hiking up Chickies Rock, we headed to the highschool parking lot and did alot of cool shots with his baby...the Jetta! Jake (and his dad) were such a hoot! Thanks again for such a wonderful shoot!

Jordan's shoot went fabulous this past Sunday. He's the star quarterback at Suburban and extremely talented. After shooting at the field, we headed to Sam Lewis and John Wright for some laid back shots. Jordan has a great smile, he couldn't get rid of it all morning!! Much success to him in the future!!

What a fabulous fall morning! Conner brought his drum set with him today, we did some fantastic special effects. He is really great on the drums, one of the best I've seen. He had come to our house already to play the Wii , and he just tears that thing to shreds!!! The whole family came this morning, we all had a wonderful time. From John Wright, to the railroads in Columbia to the track at Eastern and then to JRpassions home base (the studio) to do some stills with his paint ball paraphenelia and his cymbols. Today was awesome. Meranda volunteers for the Hellam Ambulance company, so that's where we started the shoot. Crawling around the bus was fun! Then we jetted off to accomac for some pretty scenery (more like pretty cold, brrrr!), then down to the sunflower fields at JRpassion's good friends the Lehmans!

Moon Dancer Winery Reggae Festival

Jenn went up to the winery the other day and did Daisey's shoot. She said that I should go up and introduce myself to the owner. So I took a trip up this afternoon and unfortunately he was not there at the moment. Fortunately though, there was a reggae festival taking place, it was really cool, everyone was just kicking back and relaxin". The music was just exhilirating, the atmosphere was amazing!! What a beautiful afternoon to be at the Moon Dancer Winery. If you ever get a chance to visit, it is well worth the trip, very cool!

Kelsey's shoot this evening was AWESOME! First we headed down to the rail road tracks, and we got some awesome pictures. After getting a few shots with some big trucks, we got under the bridge in Columbia for some graffiti-esque type stuff. It worked out great. Back over to the river and the lime kilns ended the shoot. Kelsey was so much fun, but that girl is sure a monkey (she was trying to climb up on and over everything)!

I've Known Tori since she was a crying little baby, my wife used to babysit her and her two brothers. We have also been close to the Giandalia family for a long time. It was my pleasure yesterday to photograph Tori. She has really grown up, and so fast. We went to Millersville University yesterday, and WOW was it a beautiful place. It was quite a busy day for me, but I had alot of fun, and so did everyone else.

Today was AWESOME! Megan, who will be graduating this coming year, wanted her pictures done in Gettysburg. She is a reinactor for the battle, and feels most at home there. So we took a quick drive, and visited little round top, the PA monument, and a few other places. She was one of the most fun, vivacious girls I have photographed in a long time. Her smile was never ending, and her energy topped it all!

A few rain showers didn't stop the day full of love on Saturday. After a beautiful ceremony at Holy Trinity, Maria and Dustin shared their joy with their friends and family with dinner and dancing. With a delicious cake made by Dustin's aunt, their fairy-tale wedding is just a beginning to their new lives together.

Well, it's been awhile since our last update. We are in the process of getting ready for the brand new JRpassions Studio at 324 Hellam St. in Wrightsville. We will be opening our doors on May 30th. If you come visit us, you can receive 20% off your entire session and order for signing that day, a chance to win a free session, meet us, and get some free cake. You can't beat that!!! I will post some pictures in the next few days to show you our progress, but you'll have to visit our grand opening to see the final product of our hard work!

In other news, this past weekend has been awesome. LAXfest was on Saturday. All of the games are now up in our proofs to be ordered. Remember you will receive 10% off all LAXfest orders until May 31st.

Winter Update

Thankfully winter is almost over and we can get back to some nicer weather. This past winter has been crazy for us. With the new store front, different sports organizations, weddings, seniors, and not to mention the holiday season, JRpassions has been on the go go go. So we apologize about the lack of updates (since October, geeze I need to get on the ball).

Kourtney and Jesse: An awesome couple. We first met Kourtney when she came to us for her senior portraits, and now, a year later, her wedding. These were taken as part of their engagement shoot. Jesse is a volenteer fire fighter, so its a big part of their soon to be life together.

Baby Aiden: As a gift to my Boss and wife at my full time job, I offered to do a small shoot for their birth announcements. Aiden is such a sweet little boy, and his Nono and Nona will sure miss him when they fly back to Italy later this week.

Carrie: She is one talented girl. She plays mulitple instruments, participates in plays, and not to mention she can sing opera! We decided to take this shoot indoors and out, and dress it up alittle with a formal red gown.

Melinda and Paul: What a beautiful winter wedding it was. Out at the stonecrest estate in York, PA, Melinda and Paul celebrated with about 30 of their closest family and friends over a quiet evening filled with togetherness. And nothing beats togetherness like huddling over a fire pit making s'mores with the ones you love.

And this is to show you all that we know how to have fun too!! We do test shots using each other (Jim, Rachael, and Myself) just to make sure we have everything perfect. And for giggles, we have to add alittle humor in with it!

Massive Senior Update!!!

This weekend was amazing. Jim and Durley got married in Lancaster on Saturday afternoon. It was such a nice fall day, you couldn't have asked for better weather. After the ceremony, a small trip to a local bar of theirs, then off to the reception at the Lancaser County Winery. That place is so neat. If you havent been there, you need to check it out. The guests were amazing, the music was pumping, everyone was having a good time. We even got to sneak in a bite of cake and alittle foolery ourselves (we like to have fun too!).

But most of all, we would like to say congratulations to the newlyweds Jim and Durley!

Britney's Senior Expressions

We started out along the river, and after we went to Sam Lewis we headed to Columbia for some more urban type shots. With her mom, dad, and best friend Courtney there, we couldn't stop laughing and having a good time. Britney's senior expressions are truly unique, and really bring out her personality.

Senior Shoot Weekend!!!

This weekend was such a blast. I had the opportunity to photograph Brandyn's senior expressions. We hit up a camp where he works during the summer and a run down amusement park. He is such a bright kid and has an extremely bright future ahead of him. It was such a great morning and I hope to have tons more fun sessions like this! Thanks Brandyn for such a super shoot!

Massive Summer Update!!!!!!

This has been one busy summer for us. We have had alot of shoots and alot of updates. Obviously you have noticed the website has been redone. We also have new products. Trading cards, Graduation Annoucements, Wedding Albums - some pretty sweet stuff if I say myself.

Rachael got married in June to her new hubby Mike. Well June 7th to be exact. It shouldnt be hard to remember her anniversary (6/7/08). Her wedding was held in New Hope, PA, right outside of philadelphia along the Deleware river. We got to stay in bed and breakfasts, visit Mike's parents in the middle of the woods to set off some illegal fireworks his best man got from Ohio on friday night. But was it ever humid and hot that day, close 100 degrees. But we made it work no matter how much everyone was sweating: they all looked flawless, especially Rachael! Another congratulations to Rachael and Mike and the kids!

One of our long-time clients had a little baby girl this summer: Brooklyn Lynn. We photographed her brothers and cousins last fall, and now that there is a new family member we just had to do it again. Grandma even got in this time! We got to photograph that cute little thing before and after she was born, and she is such an ease to work with, as long as mommy was holding her!

A few seniors too! Zach and Dana. We already posted about Dana's photoshoot, but I just can't not mention again how much fun she was. Zach was more of a laid back kinda guy, but hey, laid back is our style! He is a volenteer firefighter for a local fire company and his whole shoot was based about his love for fire fighting. We give all our respect to Zach for protecting his community doing such a dangerous job!

As you probably know, Jim is the king of sports - and our summer wouldn't have been normal with out photographing some local teams. CK8 Sports, Young Knights, Wrightsville Rec. Sports: those are just some of the teams we got to work with. We look forward to working with them this month as well. We will be at several of the games shooting and a table set up to find out how to order prints, and maybe even view some proofs!

As far as up comings for JRpassions:

On October 18th we will be at the David Bridal's Wedding Show in Lancaster, starting at 5. We will be giving away free engagement sessions for brides that sign a contract with us with the coupon from that day.

Also, on October 5th we will be at Something Old Something New Consignment shop in Hellam, PA, giving way some coupons for free prints as well!
